The Rossi gear company came into existence in 1953, when Gilio Rosi decided to manufacture premium quality gear reducers for the local industry. He named it ‘Rossi Motoriduttori’ and focused on the quality of the products rather than increasing the quantity until 1970. Over the next ten years, the company led the foundation of international gearing configured with monolithic casing and tooth grinding. In 1986, the company expanded its geographical reach by opening branches in three more countries.
The company has achieved remarkable success in the past 69 years, including winning certification from ISO 9001 and being the first gearing company offering a warranty for three years on all of its products. Although Habasit Holdings have acquired Rossi Group, the products are still manufactured and sold by their real name. At present, Rossi Gearboxes have captured a prominent percentage of the international gearing market by having manufacturing units in Germany, Brazil, France, England, Spain, Australia, Benelux, Poland, Turkey, Taiwan, South Africa, and Malaysia.
